web logging and lenting

i meant to give up something for lent. i really did. i inadvertently gave up logging my thoughts on the world wide web, but i think you're really supposed to give up something you like to do. well i didn't. but right there towards the end, i felt a conviction telling me to stop for good the things that i was too weak to dispel for only forty days. so i don't have some insightful anything to say about what i learned from giving things up for a long time, but i guess i'll be all the better for it. at least we have five chickens.
